Ruchira is originally from Milwaukee. She traveled to Lexington, Virginia to attend Washington and Lee University, where she majored in Global History and English. After graduating, Ruchira moved to Seattle where she served as an AmeriCorps member at City Year. Working with a diverse caseload of students inspired her passion for advocacy and helping those in need.
Ruchira then moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University School of Law, where she served as a Managing Editor on the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review. During law school, Ruchira was a full year student extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to working at Lane Keyfli, Ruchira completed the Emory University Fellowship Program by doing legislative policy research at the Emory Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Ruchira is licensed in Georgia and Illinois.
